Simple Ways to Elevate Your Wedding Reception

I recently hosted an editorial shoot at Tybee's newly remodeled Chapel by the Sea. They've put so much work into making the venue more modern while preserving it's historic charm. They painted the ballroom white, added a stained glass backdrop to the altar, renovated the bridal suite, created a brand new groom's suite, and SO much more!!

This editorial was put on to showcase local Savannah vendors, but more importantly to push boundaries with design and styling to give future brides inspiration! These are incredibly simple, and affordable ways to elevate your wedding reception!

Have your getting ready details This includes shoes, lingerie, garter belts, perfume, makeup, vow books, rings, veil, jewelry, and any other small details. (Like makeup from Brandi's extensive tool box) The Chapel's vintage sink was a perfect unique backdrop for detail shots!

A Champagne tower sets the tone of the night. The 411- champagne towers are typically for photos only because the glasses get sticky, guests typically prefer to get a glass from the bar, and good champagne should never go to waste. A little tip - fill all of the glasses almost full of sparkling water or ginger ale, and then pour two bottles on top to fill all the glasses and run over the top. Let the celebration begin! (I got these glasses at PopShelf for $1 each and was SO impressed with the quality!) The Chapel had a perfect fountain for a champagne tub to make sure it was perfectly chilled for their toast!
